As part of an interactive online multimedia project called The Promise, the New Yorker has posted a
brief video of the Little Rock Nine. They're in the middle of the top row. It's worth watching all 17 of the tributes.
The aging civil rights pioneers were just teenagers when they braved jeering crowds to integrate Central High School in 1957. They were reunited by the magazine for a photo shoot outside the school some weeks ago.
FM 89's Michael
Hibblen filed
this report about the Little Rock 9 reunion.
